Cristy Zonneveld, BA, CCRP, is the Senior Cohort Research Coordinator at the BC Centre on Substance Use (BCCSU). She oversees and coordinates the staff at the frontline BCCSU research office at 439 East Hastings St. in Vancouver. Cristy has been with the Vancouver Injection Drug Users Study since 2005, and previous to that she worked with the Vancouver Area Network of Drug Users. In total, she has over 20 years of experience working in the DTES. Cristy was also involved with the Evaluationo f the Supervised Injection Site (ESIS) and more recently, with the Evaluation of the 2nd Generation Health Strategy for Vancouver Coastal Health Authority. Cristy continues to work in a frontline capacity by supporting both staff and clients. Cristy received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Women Studies from Simon Fraser University. She is also a registered Certified Clinical Research Professional with the Society Of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA).
